I made a thread about Shigeru Miyamoto and his gaming career and he is not dead yet, but Steve Jobs is.  If you did not know how he died, he died of cancer.  I did not know the guy had cancer. Anyways, since he is dead, would Apple be different now?  I do know that people would buy his stuff because you know how Elvis Presley died and people started buying things of him and listening to his songs.  People are going to start buying iPods and iPads and other things that Steve Jobs made.  How do you feel about this and has this experience wanted you to buy any of his things? What would the world be like without Steve Jobs?

well considering he was the real inventor of microsoft, the brains behind the succs of pixar, the biggest shareholder in disney and the co founder of apple, yes i think the world would be different if he hadnt been here, and certainly it will be different now hes gone.
but songs cost a couple of bucks, steve jobs products cost a couple of hundred so i doubt sales will rocket.it may effect the type of products apple makes in the future, beyond that, who knows?

I think Apple sales will start to increase for a while, but what I'm interested in is what kinds of products Apple is going to release now without Steve Jobs. He worked on nearly every Apple product, right up to the iPad 2, so Apple's vision may completely change.

Technically he was not the CEO of the company for the post few months. He "officially" stepped down far before he said that he actually did. So no it will not change it that much. Though I am sure they will try to cash in on his death.

He stepped down because of his illness, starting the transition so that if he died he wouldn't leave Apple bereft of a CEO... a wise move really.

But yeah, he was a creative force for the company... I really don't know what they are going to do now that he is gone.

Well, he was the "Star" of Apple, As you say their sales will go to the Roof just because Steve did them. Anyways, I don't think that this notice change the world... Eventually, the people will forget about it.
