I'm a little bit half-drunk right now so I can't say a lot about this. Just something I came across and found at the other board I go to. Looks to me like it's night-vision with little bit of thermal vision. Pretty good combination if you ask me. Not only can you make something out, but you can also tell if something is biological or not. IF that's the case. Pretty interesting stuff. I, myself never imagined night vision evolving. I wonder if others can do the sames.

I imagine technology like this will be great for our troops. It makes nighttime fighting that much easier.

I guess the police can use it too, to see criminals running at night. Other than that, I'm not sure what else you'd use it for. But It looks pretty cool.

Considering how helpful night vision and thermal vision are in their ow respective ways, hindsight tells me this was bound to happen eventually. Not only does the night vision help you decipher shapes, the thermal vision makes it easier to spot anything... warm blooded I suppose.
