What kind of game related job do you want? Are you going into coding or graphics or sound? Just saying but most companies won't hire you unless your have at least some kind of college degree on one of those things.

Do you have any past games/game music/graphics to your name? Typically having a good portfolio will help you get a job.

If you're want to create games and you haven't even tried to before I'd suggest using RPG Maker. There have been some really nice games made using that maker.

If you want to make something from scratch I'd suggest learning a programming language, such as C++. Here's a basic tutorial to get you started.

Once you've learned the basics of a game, you can check out freelancing sites (basically, it's where people are willing to pay money for you to make something for them) and see if you can get someone to hire you. Typically the payer will hire the person with the best portfolio.
