I recently read on Gamespot that Windows 8 will feature Xbox LIVE, for playing online and other stuff. It will also feature Cross-Platform gaming between the Xbox 360 and Windows 8.
Instead of being called "Games for Windows Live", like previous version have, it will simply be called "Xbox Live for Windows".

Windows 8 will also be bringing Kinect support to PC gaming.

I have heard about this. I am not sure what to think just because windows live and their games were never that great. I also think it seems weird just because why buy a X box? I hope that it turns out cool though I am almost sure it will.

That's my reason for getting an Xbox, I don't have the thousand dollars to spend on a gaming computer for myself.

pi0x : I got confused, for some reason I thought that it would be like an X box and a computer. I get it now I guess that I was just putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. In other words I was thinking one step ahead.

I only use Windows as my OS but I'm not a fan of the Microsoft gaming. As long as they don't tie up a fair amount of the OS with Xbox crap it will be fine.
