I am curious of what kind of disciplines there is in schools.  In my school, we have this program called Academic Support.  It is like a detention, but if you forget to do your homework or fail a test, you have to stay after school for an hour and complete it.  I think this is full of crap because some people forget and some people don't like staying after school.  It's like they want us to stay in school forever.  I am glad that I don't have it yet, but if I do, it would be 7 hours, only an extra hour (7am - 3pm).  Do you have any stupid rules that you can't stand?

Marcmoney : My high school actually had Academic Support, too. Except it was for lunch time, instead of after school. If you had a failing grade in any class, you had a shorter lunch period. 

Yeah in my college there was this system , I remember we had detentions after school for one hour, if we have not done any homework or if we come >45 minutes late(five times attended due to lateness ). There was also Saturday detention, which once I attended. There we have to complete homework, It was boring and a loss of time, I think they wanna to put discipline in students. 

I think all the discipline rules at my school are pretty much okay. Well, as a senor, there's not much restrictions that they have anyways.

My school does that, in a way. we only get detentions if we fail to turn in out homework. Not for failing tests, thank god.

Well in my school there is one teacher for our study hall that will not let us talk or do anything. If we do not do work she sends us out of the room and we get detention. I got kicked out so I called her a b**** and that was the end of that.

billythekidmonster :  Wow, I can't believe you did that.  That is the same thing to our study hall, except that we do not get detention for it, they will try to get us something to do for a class like study your notes even when there is not a test coming up.

Marcmoney : She is literally a white supremacist and it makes me mad just because she treats people by sex and race. She is also a guy, I am almost 100% on that and I hate her. She earned what she got.

Marcmoney : Not right now, but in my second school (K-8th) I hated uniforms. I went to a catholic school. Luckily, after 5th grade I could wear my gym clothes every other day.

I think the closest think to a weird rule that we had is that we couldn't talk at all during study halls. Doing so resulted in detensions. Nothing that weird other than that.

I recall my high school having Saturday detention. I think you had to skip a few classes to get that. We had regular detention too. I never had to go to either.

well my friend said one day he had a substitute teacher when someone did something wrong everyone else got in trouble and not the person who did to make the other kids hate the person who got in trouble

My school is strict with not getting up. What if my desk suddenly caught fire? Yeah, they never thought of that.

My school is strict on a uniform policy for boys and girls. It is easy to get a demerit in my school.

Boys:
must have the right uniform on
cannot wear necklaces or bracelets
the hair cannot be below the neck and under the ears
belts have to be worn
shoes have to be tied
shoes have to be the right ones
socks have to be 3 inches above the ankle
no colored socks
(summer) pants have to be below legs (winter) pants have to be long
shirts need to be tucked in
etc.

Girls:
must have right uniform
skirts have to be below the legs
no makeup
no jewelry
hair cannot be below the shoulders
etc.

The detention rules is stupid also. This is how it goes.
First Detention: get it signed
Second Detention: get it signed, phone call parent
Third Detention: get it signed, after school detention
First after school detention: get it signed, lead to a second after school detention
Second after school detention: get it signed, lead to a third after school detention
Third after school detention: get it signed, next day is an in-school suspension
In-school suspension: two of them lead to a suspension for three days
After three suspension: one more detention is to be expelled from school

(this is all in middle school)

Redxsparrow :  Dang!! I feel sorry for you. If I were you, I would leave that school.  I guarantee that I would not last in that school.  there probably isn't a lot of people in that school I'm guessing.
How stupid is this...no makeup for girls...that is the most stupidest thing ever.  They have rights to do that.  No Jewelry...give me a break.  I would break all those rules and see what would happen lol.

Marcmoney : It is a catholic school, and I only got one detention but that was back in sixth grade. This is my last year at that school so there is going to be more in high school... hooray....  

In my school we get random drug tests, and you get in trouble even if the drug is prescribed, you have to go through saving the prescription, showing it to the school every time you get a drug test if you take meds. Then they make your parents sign this form saying that they agree with the drug test, if they don't agree and dont' sign it, you get detention.
