Yeah, I don't want to sound like a bad guy here, but I think you should apologize to her. I'm not going to get into sides on the whole gay being a decision thing because that isn't the point. I do understand that you are free to have an opinion in the matter, which is fine. But your position on this can't be considered a fact unless you were gay and knew if it was because you choose to be. Otherwise, it is just your opinion. Don't get me wrong, it is okay to have your opinion, and nobody should be mad at you for having an opinion. Just remember not to call the other people liars unless you have firsthand experience in the matter. If your opinion is still the same, let her know that your opinion is the same, but you are sorry for disrespecting her sister. Hopefully, you two can put this in the past. Again, I wish you luck in patching things up.

Yeh,iv got to agree with carter,regardless of what you believe,telling her her sister was a liar was a bad move.if you care that much you'll be able to apologise.

Now I don't want to get deep into the gay choice or born argument. I do have to say that I know exactly how your gf sees your sis as born gay. I know my brother was born gay because how he always acted (playing barbies with me when little, having lots of friends that were girls but no actual girl friend, wearing make up all the time) thinks like that. Frankly I knew my brother was gay way before he told anyone. I would also be angry if my boyfriend said my brother chose to be gay and made a big argument out of it. Like everyone has said please apologize to her and even if you still think the way you do just say you accept her point of view.
