Are you on a laptop using the mouse pad? If you are, it won't work. It took me forever to find out how to use the SNES super scope and the SNES mouse. But then I tried plugging in my mouse instead of using the mouse pad, and it worked. If you are using a laptop mouse pad, give that a try.

Do you by chance have the problem with the mouse not moving in the menu?

Edit - if this is the case, you can use the arrow keys in the menu and the Enter key to select the option that you want to configure. Once in the Devices Selector you'll type the M key and that will choose mousepad.

First make sure you use fire fox or Internet explorer.
Then, press esc, go to con fig then video using arrow keys, then go to any size that fits your monitor, but make SURE it says an f next to it, then press enter.
Now use the mouse to go to con fig, then devices.
Click mouse on port 1 and leave the others alone.
Now only do this in normal Mario paint, NOT the one with (joystick) in the name.
