Anyway, hello people of vizzed.com! I have searched the Internet for ages, looking for a great place to play classic games online. It appears that I have finally found a place that has what I want!
Until I finally get this whole forum thing down, I'll probably just stick to the games or lurking around the site.
I've been known to be shy, but I also love a good (free) chat every now and then. Message me if you want! I'll try not to bite...

Look no further, your search is truly at an end. There is almost not a single game you played from your childhood that you can't find to play here. I did the same thing as you and stuck to the games instead of posting. Have fun, and I give you an early welcome to the forums when you start posting. You can find a lot of fun stuff here. You can play forum games in the Crazy House threads. Also, David makes up 2 competitions at the beginning of every month using games from the Retro Game Room. To find those, look under the Retro Game Room forum section and click the Contest sub-forum. You can check out the contests we have had in the past and the winners. If you would like, you can try competing in this months competitions. They will be over at 11:59PM this Wednesday. You can earn a LOT of Viz (the currency for this site) if you place in the top three. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me, or ask anyone else because most people are always willing to help out. It is pretty friendly here.

It is a lot more common than you think to see a new member make a thread in the wrong forum. You posted your introduction in the right place. Do not be afraid to post anywhere on the Vizzed Board. If something happens to be wrong with a post, such as the new thread has a topic already started, or is in the wrong forum, Vizzed has moderators to help handle the situation. Believe me, I have made a few mistakes before. If you are not complete familiar with the rules of the Board, check out the Do's and Dont's page. If you have questions, feel free to send me a private message --or even send me a PM if you simply want to chat. So why don't we get a conversation started here. How did you find Vizzed? I stumbled onto the scene back in January after making several attempts at other fan-made websites.

It's so nice to find a place where everybody seems so friendly. It's a welcome change from the usual places I join, where I don't get much more than an automatic welcome message...
I found Vizzed a few days ago while I was looking for a place where I could play an online version of a Spyro game. One of the links I clicked on took me here. I was overjoyed when I saw the massive collection of games on Vizzed, but that excitement began to fade when I found out that I needed to download something to play them. I've downloaded programs before and had them destroy my computer with viruses, so I usually avoid them. But then I remembered that a friend of mine had mentioned Vizzed before and he never mentioned any problems with it. I decided that I would take the risk and download the required plug in. It was definitely a risk worth taking. No viruses, no malware. Nothing but happiness. This is one of the best sites I have come across in quite some time.

Yeah, we are pretty awesome. But we always like to get new people here. The forums are so much more fun when a variety of people are active here. You'll come to recognize a lot of us on the threads.
