Halo, by Manic Drive. I've been listening to this song a lot lately. It's about being who you are (specifically wearing your religious beliefs openly) and not worrying about whether or not people will criticize you or dislike them.

And in the end, isn't that what everyone should do? Be themselves regardless? Instead we see a few who would dare stand up and do what they want while the rest all scramble around trying to decide who they want to let tell them what to think, feel, believe, and do. I'm sick of that myself and don't plan to follow that road anymore.

I would currently be listening to Rock Me Now by Metric. Not quite sure of what genre this fits into, but it reminds of the Oceans heist movie series. Really good to just kick back too and chill, do something relaxing. I wish I knew other songs which have the same feel as this one.

I've been listening to the original Phantom of the Opera performance from 1986. I got to see it live when they went on tour around the world a few years later and it was amazing (a few years like 5-10 years later).

This is one of the only operas that I've seen that I can actually stand to listen to after the fact.
