I think yes... Some times we ran out of ideas and so, repeat some foods... But with variations.

Example: If the Tuesday we eat Pasta... The Saturday day we do it with another Kind or with Chicken instead of meat.

I try to have a variety of food every day. Mostly because I think it helps to keep myself healthier and more fit. So I eat small portions of many different things daily (not hamburgers, or pizza etc though, I try to avoid those kind of things). But I have a bit of Iron deficiency, so I have to eat red meat often.

Yep, I believe that a well-balanced diet will also have a lot variety in it. I try to keep my foods varied and try to have some from each food group in there. Of course, I don't get everything but I do my best to get as much as possible.
