My Medical Story


so any Hello my SN  is Dark Angel Slayer y first name Rodney and here is my story  I was born in 1984 2 months early weighting 1pd 10 oz and  with a hole in my heart. I went threw 3 open heart surgeries. The first one was exploratory sugary to see where the hole was . The second sugary was to relocate a vain from my right arm to my chest to help with the blood flow and the third sugary was to fix my hart to put a patch over the hole in my heart but blood still leaks threw the hole. I also have an abnormal heart beat called a heart murmur.  I went threw out my life with no hick up with my heart after the surgeries. Until 2008   I basically went into cardiac arrest   at work  and died out side on the side walk by the back entrance.  Before the even my friend / co worker knew something was wrong with me. I was sitting on bottom back railing  and resting my head on the top railing because I was feeling tired on my way to work. My friend walked by me saying she was headed to the store. I looked up at her while she walked a crossed the parking lot. She take a few step turn around and look at me. Then she would take a few more steps turn around and look at me. When she got back I stood up and walked up to her / she was standing by the back door she asked " are you ok you don,t look good" I replied " yes I am alight just tired"  All I remember was taking a step back and her  yelling my name but it sounded really faint. Then I came to again lying on the side walk with her stand over me. ( from her point of view : Basically what happen was went I stepped hitting the railing with such force I almost went over backwards she grabbed me and pulled me back over. She stated to the paramedic that my body with into a seizure like state and then I fell. She dove with me to the ground protecting my head. I guess I hit ground with such force it acted like a defibrillator stopping and restarting my heart. I went to the hospital and spent 2 weeks in there while the doctors tried to figure out what went wrong with my heart. The doctors finally found  the problem with my heart .  I was diagnosed with Ventricular Fibrillation or VF with is a fast abnormal heart rate that happens in the ventricles or lower half of your heart the heart rate can reach up to 300 BPM or beats per minuets VF is very FATAL the only way to stop it is threw defibrillator. I also died 2 more times at the hospital as well during the visit

DarkAngelSlayer : WOW. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. Your friend must have been so scared. I know I would have been. I'm glad they were able to bring you back. I have a heart abnormality too.

Oh my gosh, that's terrible! I hope you never have to go through anything like that again D:.
I also have a heart murmur, an aortic bicuspid valve to be exact. I hope nothing like this ever happens to me.

DarkAngelSlayer : if this is true that really sucks and i hope you get some kinda permanent health fix.the only reason i say hope its true is the fact people keep copy and pasting stuff,the fact you have not been on this site much and the fact there is no alignement or paragraphs which is common of a copy and paste job.i want to believe you wouldnt be sick enough to do that.

Wow... that's a really scary thought. I hope you've gotten that resolved or are in the process of being healed. It's no fun to walk around with something as frightening as that.

Talk about a near death encounter, wow your condition is out of comparison, I have a twin and he was born with a small hole in his heart, but nothing major apparently. In his youth he had check ups about it until the age of about 13. I can't imagine the pain or trauma u might have gone through. I am glad u are alive and well.
