First time I've done any 3D outside of class work in a while.



It's a scythe, in case you couldn't tell. It's halfway done and isn't textured yet but I figured I'd show it to help myself keep motivated. Unlike the castle model (too much for me to handle atm) I was working on I plan on finishing this one. I've spent probably around 6-7 hours on it so far. I plan on adding some to the top half of the blade and then I'm going to add in some decoration to the blade and gear thing on the back of the scythe.

I myself preferred the straight handle, but maybe making it curve at just towards the bottom of it?

I'd also suggest checking out Digital Tutors, which is a tutor site for a lot of different programs. You have to pay to get all the videos but a lot are free.

Anyway DAYUM. That is really good. I can not make very good objects for 3D modeling it is just very hard for me to do. You are really talented. I want to see this finished. How long did this take you?
