I like Nickelback since their Album " Silver Side Up " hit stores few years ago. Ever since then i've been a fan i would say. Liked all the albums and i really like the voice of Chad Kroeger, it is very rough, but still has a lot of emotion and power in it.

I really like Nickelback. I haven't heard every song, but I have several favorites. Currently my favorites are "Far Away", "If Everyone Cared",  "Gotta Be Somebody", and "If Today Was Your Last Day". Those songs have some really good lyrics. Rather shallow, I never really liked their work a lot. I guess my big beef is, when you put them alongside a lot of modern rock, they sound generic. I will give Nickelback credit in that they does good covers (Like their Metallica and ZZ Top covers were good, the AC/DC one meh).

I just see them as inoffensive music you can put to anything. I don't like their music at all, and find it quite hard to enjoy. If someone wanted to listen to them, I wouldn't mind just for their sake, though. I don't normally enjoy post-grunge unless it has something that isn't able to put to any anime scene. I probably couldn't make an AMV with a song like Hamburger Lady by Throbbing Gristle by any means.
