I like the way I do it because I give everyone a fair chance before I start kicking. They can't argue innocence if I see them flaming and I warn them before kicking them. I dislike meaningless arguments, so I try to avoid them or head them off if possible.

This is pretty sad. The drama will probably never go away, but summoning a busy guy like geeogree over and over again is wrong. I personally can't say if the drama has gotten worse since I left, but this still shouldn't happen.

I do not typically use the chat rooms just because it has never been my thing. I did a few times as a newbie to find out how to do things I couldn't find in the help section, so I don't know exactly firsthand about the drama that goes on in there. But I have heard a lot about it, and it makes me less encouraged to go into one. But with how much I have heard about this stuff, I think geeogree a standing ovation here. When I read his posts here, my thought was "BAM! He is laying down the law!". But in all seriousness, the mods are not made to break up petty squabbles between people when they can fix the problem themselves. It might have been a lack of awareness of the chat features, and hopefully at least some who were unaware of them can enjoy the chat rooms more after geeogree brought up those options here.
