Ok, so I finally hit the top 10 posters today, after being stuck in 11th for quite a while.

I lost a lot of motivation to post, so it took a lot just to get the 100 posts I needed this past week (for those unaware, 100 posts is a down week for me)

Anyway, I should note I'm significantly less excited about this milestone than the 5000 post milestone. 5000 posts felt like WOOOO I DID IT! But being in the top 10 posters feels more like, "Cool, next goal is to pass noelia."

But still, I'm very excited to have finally made it into the top 10.

Now that I'm in the top 10, I don't expect to stop posting, but I don't expect to compete for higher post ranks. I'm sticking with quality over quantity.

Anyway, I guess that's it. Who would have thought I'd break into the top 10 using the same layout that all newbies start out with =P

Congrats man. Now, all you gotta do is hit the top 5. SO we can be top 5 buddies. =3

Congratulations Leggy. I bet you feel great now that you are at the tops. Perhaps I'll meet you in the tops one day, but that's not going to be for a long while. Again, congratulations buddy.

David, geeo, and sept all have above 9000, so they are in. After that is a huge race between you, alex, ymk, and me. Neither of us will slow down, so it will be until sept gets knocked down before I'm there. =P

But to have such a high post count at this point is nice.

I will give you $1000 (ok maybe not cause I'm broke) if you can get #1 by the end of this year At least you can camp now, I don't think anyone is going to pass you for at least a few months unless they got nuts on a VCS competition.

If 1000 dollars was on the line, I would definitely go for it. I'm only like 10,000 posts out of 1st right? That would require 10,000 posts in 4 months, or 2,500 a month, which boils down to about 90 or so a day? I'm not being exact, but that's a guess.

I could do that for 1000 dollars =P

I think I'd be only the second to get 7000 in a single year though, which is what I'm shooting for.

It is interesting to note the fact that you are not using a layout as you reach this milestone, especially since you have had a variety of your own layouts and made some for others here as well. Perhaps it just shows that you do look for quality over quantity, and the fact that you set your layout aside for the "proper layout protest" was simply coincidental timing. Regardless, I think that is what is shows about you. Congratulations on reaching the top ten.

thats a lot of posting.
I got quite a few down when i first joined but now i only reply to threads that are actualy interesting to me so its probably going to take me months just to get 1000.
Congratz,i wouldnt be surprised if you went up another rank this year.
As for the $1000 thing id be pretty amased if you caught david.on top of his additional posts he'd still be making more so you'd need more than 90 a day.
I dont think i could find 90 things worth replying to at any rate.

Even though I can't read about half of this thread, congrats Leggy. With me as your life coach, we've gone to new heights. Without the motivation I bring to you, you'd be at what, 4000 posts? Maybe 5000?


Anyway, enough about my great accomplishments, you deserve some of the credit too I suppose. Great job, I'll see you up there in the top ten in a couple hours...

Sorry I do know how to code (mostly) and I just forgot to get rid of the ending tags even though I had no starting tags mainly because I was redoing my layout. Again sorry for making the page look like s*** a lot.
