The sad thing is I find's weather hot when everyone else is freezing. If, say hypothetically, it is around 10 C outside, and everyone else is freezing, I am usually cooked. Thus, I takes every possible precaution to lower my body temperature to adequate levels...basically shorts, open windows, cold foods, and lots of ice.

One of the better things you can do inside your home is run up a cold bath, and soak in it. This will lower your overall body temperature. The other option is of course go somewhere else that's cool and swim in it, which is probably more enjoyable.


The UV was over 115 over here in Canada last night in some areas; specifically my area. But today it's actually somewhat nice. Storm clouds are brewing in and it looks like it's going to rain. If you only take like a 2 minutes shower or so it's not going to feel great when the water dries off.

I put on a t-shirt soaked in wet water, and wringed out so it is not dripping wet, just damp against my skin. If it's really hot I will wear nothing besides a damp bathing suit and t-shirt. Plus I put my hair up so it does not get sweaty.

Drinking and eating a lot of ice & ice-cold food also really helps, because it cools down your core body temperature.
