Hello fellow gamers.  Just dropping by to state the obvious. 

I'm new to this site and so far so good.  I'm a 28 year old male currently going to school for video game sound design, nearly halfway through the program and I love it.  Not really much more to say except I love gaming and am glad I found this site.

Yea, I remember running into this site a while back and just never had the time to really check it out.  I have been playing around with emulators for years and ran into a lot of bad ROMs and such so it's good to find a site that is legit and consistent.

As far as the career is concerned I am learning everything that is audio in video games with a lot of emphasis and theory and implementation.  Also learning how it's implemented in TV and movies as well.  I can branch off in many audio fields after school is done and even though it is frustrating sometimes, when it all comes together it's worth it and can be very fun.
