Hello I am here with a suggestion because I do not like plunging into the control panel for the VCS button. I would like to see a VCS button put somewhere at the top amongst the other links. This would help me to see how many posts I have made for the day. So do you think that this is a good idea?

It's definitely not an important enough link to be placed at the top.  The top is reserved for very important links, links that would be clicked by 100s or even 1000s of people a day.  Plus there's really no room to add any more links so I'd have to remove one of the current links at the top to do that.

I have to agree with David on this one.

There are only 10-20 people a day who really check the VCS.... sure it's a pain to have to click through to but make a bookmark for it instead and click the bookmark when you want to see the VCS.
