I remember the first time I was introduced to the original Castlevania. It was a few years ago watching AVGN and his Castlevania video series on YouTube. After watching I learned of the games insane difficulty and frustration and wanted to give it a try myself so I downloaded the ROM and began to play.

Now the question is have I beaten the game and the answer is No I never have beaten the game in fact I have only cleared through Stage 2 yeah the one with the flying objects knocking around and that's were I Got stuck and I am still to this day not able to pass that stage.

I beat Castlevania many times. I in fact beat it 3 times in a row, and thats without cheats and save states since I play it on an actual NES without any gameovers. I might do the same on the one on here.

I have beaten it on GBA at least 3 times, 7 on PSP, and about 5 on R4 card.

I haven't actually played it on NES. It would be easier with the normal controller for sure.

Ha ha, yes I have beat this game, although it was a long time ago. This game is so hard, I never liked the fact that when Simon jumps, he can not go but one direction while in the air. My favorite boss and level is the grim reaper's. The first time I seen this game beat was when Nes first came out, I had an older friend who beat it.
