Davideo7 : I'm linking you in because it concerns you


So, I had this dream the other night that David died. Since he's named me "2nd in command" of Vizzed for some reason this meant that she had to move to Canada and get married to me. I'm not sure why but in my dream that is what happened.

So, she ended up living at my house with my wife and 2 kids (I don't remember David's daughter being involved)

And that's all I really remember. It was really strange though. I told that story to my wife and she said something like "Wishful thinking?"

So yeah, that's my strange dream story. I have others that I'll tell later but for now that's what I'm starting with

I always love and hate how dreams can be so much different than what you think in real life. I had some weird dream last night where my sisters and I decided to live by ourselves in some house, which is weird because we're always fighting. xD

Yeah pretty rare that dreams come true, probably like 1 in a million lol.  But yeah, if for some reason something did happen to me, you'd be in charge of and take over my role and it'd probably make sense that JigSaw would become the new developer (which would cause conflict but he's the only other person qualified to handle the maintenance and security stuff on vizzed).

I myself have crazy dreams every night and usually many.  They often make little sense and involve anxiety situations lol.  I tend to have a lot of school dreams even though I haven't been in school in about 8 years.

That is a pretty odd dream. Of course, I remember having one where I was a superhero operating off the roof of the spare room out back, so I really have no room to say anything.

I always have really strange dreams, but I can never seem to remember them when I want to write about them.

Davideo7 : yeah.... that would be an interesting situation with Jigsaw. I'm sure we would work it out between the 2 of us but it would not be easy in the beginning.

And don't worry, I have no aspirations in marrying your wife, even if it is a 1 in a million chance

Elara : that's how I usually am. I was lucky to remember as much as I did for this last dream. Most of the time I remember that my dream was "really strange" and that's it. It's like a blur of something I can't quite see anymore.

1 in a million for it being true? No. At least not for me. I never remember, or rarely remember my dreams. Why? 

1 in 10-50 comes true. No, I am not kidding or making a lie for 'teh lulz'. Here how it goes. 

Every once in a while, I always stop, look, and realize that it was in my dream. Either it  was a thread created on Vizzed, a thing happening in real life, or hell, even what a person would PM me in the future. The list goes on long. 

The most interesting of all, though, is the fact I dreamed of Vizzed three or so years ago, and on the month I found this website, I stopped, looked at the layout, and examined. 'Wait a moment, do this look familar?' was my first thought. The answer? Yes. 

My dreams tends to come true in a couple of years, where I've completely forgotten about it. Quite fun and interesting for me to find out that I was dreaming a future event. xD

Snowdeath : Interesting.  Maybe being deaf has given you the ability to unlock a new sense via your dreams? I don't know but for most people, dreams just reflect daily events and worries.

Davideo7 : "daily events and worries" doesn't even sound close to my dreams. They're usually seem wild or simplistic until I find out it was that, or there, etc. 
Possible, but how good is it if I forget the dream the minute I wake up? Haha.

Snowdeath : But your view of the world is a bit different than everyone elses so it'd make sense that your dreams were different.  I'm actually pretty good at remembering my dreams when I wake up but if I don't think about them soon after I wake up, later in the day I'll have mostly forgotten the dreams the previous night unless they really stood out.

There's a trick I learned a while ago that really helps you remember your dreams. Keep some paper and a pen right next to your bed and the second you wake up, write whatever you remember about the dream you had. It can be anything from a single word feeling to an entire paragraph. As you write more, not only will the dream stick in your memory, but you'll also remember more of the dream that you could've forgotten. I've been doing this for about a month now and I can still remember what happened in the dreams I had back then.

I had a dream that I was an Orange. I mean I watched the annoying orange a lot yesterday and I was the annoying orange
So what are the chances of that dream coming true?..........

I have dreams all the time
thats usally about stuff that happens
the next day I find it a bit creepy
cause it always comes true.
The worst dream i had was non stop for a month or so
But there were these people that i was hanging with
and then they would turn to demons and chase me threw
a field and then the field floor opened and you could see hell
But in the end this weird person always saved me.

Well, I had a dream that pretty much put me in the world of Final Destination, where EVERYTHING was trying to kill me. Trees tried to crush me, blow dryers tried to shock me or whatever.

IT ended when a plane literally was about to crash straight into me.

So last nights dream involved a quest for double decker tacos from taco bell that I was getting for a group of people, and an of fries for a guy working on something at the place we were. It was a house, but not this house, but kinda this house... but it was in the general location of my old apartment because one of the things I got was a pepsi for my brother but I didn't really want to drive the ten minutes down the freeway to give it to him. I had also gotten a mini pepsi for myself but I never saw myself drink it. Also, I was pleased that it all came to just under $20 for some reason.

I got back and was looking for a way in, but there were paper wasps near the doors since they had built a huge colony in the upper level of the house... it was like there was a covered open area between the traditional roof and the actual one, and they had taken over. The fridge was outside, and there was a door to my bedroom specifically... and it was my childhood bedroom, so I had to make sure to keep the door shut when I went outside to get the drinks from the fridge including that pepsi I bought that was not slushified in a dish. I never brought in the tacos, and the workman just vanished which was okay because everywhere I stopped to get fries I unconsciously ate them while waiting for the slow ass cashiers to ring me up. And they were like restaurant steak fries with seasoning, but served on a napkin. Really weird.

At one point I needed to get to the fridge but to do it I essentially needed to go through another one that was blocking the hallway and had an AC unit in it for further cooling, and no one would move it for me, then suddenly it was like it was in a table and they shifted the whole thing so I could just walk to the side, while keeping a look out for wasps.

I am writing all that I remember since I just woke up... this is pretty par for the course on how strange they are.

I have strange vivid dreams almost every night. I'm not sure why, probably has to do with the lack of sleep I get and my immense imagination. I love it though and I never have nightmares.


Dream I had last night-

All I can remember at the moment is that it took place in my room. There was at least one other person with me (can't remember who, but it's someone I know). We were sitting on my bed playing the ps3 when this bug flew onto the bed. This bug wasn't a real bug though. It was all black, almost metallic looking, had four legs and two claws, like a praying mantis, and had large sharp, retractable spikes all over it's body. It's head was alien like, I mean like the aliens from the movie Alien, and it had small sharp teeth. It also had wings but they were fairly bug like.

When this thing landed on the bed we of course hurried to get to the other side of the bed. We weren't surprised at how it looked though and we treated it like you would if a bee or something was in the same room as you. It came towards us and crawled up onto my chest. I didn't feel threatened by it though, which is why I let it on my chest. It would just sit on my chest, every once in a while it would retract it's spikes, like it was showing off, and put them back out. Soon a couple more showed up but nothing eventful happened that I can remember.

This dream is pretty tame compared to my other ones.

Most of my dreams are fantasy like from animes.  One a few years ago was my fave being in the anime series Bakuretsu Hunters.  Carrot kept on hitting on me and I had super magic powers and took on the dark lord Eclair to save Carrot~  Strange thing was I always loved Carrot's brother Maron lol!

Some strange dreams are me just playing the current MMORPG that I was into.  Then I'd wake up and HAVE to go play the game.

A current night mare I had was that I went to the movies and they had a new thing called 2 second previews.  Most of the previews were funny (don't remember, just remember laughing at them)  Then at the end there was a preview with 3 guys 1 girl being gaged and bound in a car and then an atomic bomb goes off disintegrating them and the sound was so loud I wanted to scream!  This kept looping for about 10 times till I forced myself awake.  I then threw up a few times and I've been sick all day.

Last time I had a bad night mare before that was when I was 12 when a reporter was in the ocean in a shark cage reporting on sharks.  Then he slowly turned into a shark then everything sped up and started swirling around, when I woke up everything would still swirl around for hours on end.  When it stopped I'd be throwing up and sick all day.

I never deal well with nightmares as you can see.

I've had some really weird dreams.


Such as the time I dreamt I was taken up into space, the 'aliens' looked like grotesque hellraiseresque females. It is really hard to explain. Well, they experimented on me and sent me home. A few weeks later they abducted me again, this time they kept me and mated with me.

You're not the only one who's had dreams of futuristic events that happened years later. I've actually had that happen too. I remember one particularily I dreamed about a game when I was about 7 or 8. It was a computer game, which is funny because we didn't even own a computer, but I was in a different house, one I never seen before, and was playing this game. I was about 4 or 5 years older. This part of the dream only lasted about 15 seconds before it became blank.




It turns out later that eventually, this did happen. I remember the house I moved in to about a month later was the one I dreamed about (but I didn't reconize it at the time) Eventually I did get a computer, and eventually the game I dreamed about was "Ragnarok Online". What is even more weird is that the exact same scene happened after about 3 weeks of playing, I even remembered the person's username that I met in the game. It hit me like a wall. In fact everything was so accurate, I was actually quite scared for a little while.

Good, so I'm not the only person who has dreams of the future.

Usually it'll just be a couple seconds. It typically is just what I see, and the event will occur in a few weeks. One time I heard part of a conversation on xBox live.

Usually when I realize it happened, I'll get a bit of a headache for a while, but it passes.
