Which console is better

This is seriously a tough comparison for me as I place them in the same area in my top 10.

The N64 is more close to my heart. I played a ton of it from age 4 to 14, a ton of my life was spent on the N64. It had consistent games with the greatest replay value, the games were awesome, from Diddy Kong Racing to Ocarina Of Time, which is my favorite game of all time.

The Xbox 360 can do anything, even sense your body movements, it's spectacular. It plays my movies and high tech games, but all the games are the same, and scream out "FPS" that doesn't go to my heart, but through my heart, because that's not the touching part of the game that I lived by my whole life.

I say the N64 is my favorite system of the two, maybe of all time, if the GameCube has nothing to say about it.

The Xbox 360 may be a good console, but the N64 is definitely my favorite thanks to its great games to go with it, pretty memorable.

The 360 is a hunking piece of s*** that I'm surprised people like over the PS3, as well as every old system ever.

The N64 is a revolutionary device that paved the way for Nintendo to START the 3D era. Ever notice how the Gamecube and Wii suck? They don't TOTALLY suck, it's just that compared to the 64, they are so pathetic.

The N64 wins every day over the 360.

I accidentally put my vote in the poll for Xbox 360 instead of 64, whoops!

Although I do like the Xbox, the 64 had good games and great memories.

Nintendo 64 is better because it has great games and different genres.  XBOX 360 just has violent and adventure games only.  It gets boring at some point.

N64 is awesome the xbox has alot of problems RRoD
and other stuff plus the only good game that xbox has is halo N64 had mario 64 some ind of kirby game a donkey kong game and other great games

N64 has the best library of games on any console really, the xbox has a few exclusives such as halo, but lots of other games are available on the PS3 (the better of the two systems).
N64 is my vote.

1. Nintendo 64 is epic. They had all the best games of that era.
2. Xbox 360 is average. The only redeeming quality is the Halo series.

N64 wins by a lot. Halo just can't compete with all of the great N64 games.

I'll have to say 360 is far better than N64; in terms of graphics, and game library.

However, PS3 has the same library of games save for a couple, so I'd say PS3 for the win lol;
but definitely 360 over N64

The XBox 360 is obviously better in terms of hardware, but the Nintendo 64 really has all the great games that set the curve for future gaming. I would have to go with the N64 since I'm a bigger Nintendo fan.

In a hardware the comparison, the XBox 360 beats it as far as graphics and such.


But then again, how many N64's had you had to replace over a red ring of death? Me? None. Now while I never had an XBox 360, my best friend does, and he's had to replace two so far. My N64 from the day I got it STILL works PERFECTLY fine... The only problem is that the reset button is stuck; nothing that just turning the system off and back on will fix.


The controllers absolutely suck for the N64. That's a given. The Xbox's controllers are far better given that the analog stick doesn't feel like it's going to snap in half on you.


The N64 was revolutionary. While the Snes made the first couple 3D games (Like Star Fox, and technically Star Fox 2 was a FULL 3D game but it was absolutely unreleased but STILL completed [Wtf Nintendo?]) the N64 really was what started the 3D era on games. It has way more fun games then the Xbox 360 will ever own at this rate.

The N64 of course it had better games than the Xbox 360 and you can't beat the classics

I like Xbox 360 more than N64 it was a really a hard choice but I voted Xbox because of it's Graphics,The amount of games you ca choose from and the online gameplay.

N64 hands down. That was when gaming was simple and more fun. And halo isn't even that great. All they have going for them is online play and thats getting old. =/

My vote goes to N64. It was one of the best memory's of mine. The Xbox360 has good games to, but N64 was the best to me.

N64 not only has better games but also better hardware, better graphics, better controllers, better commercials, better magazines, better everything then any XBOX system

XBOX's only claim to fame is Halo, which is nothing revolutionary in the gaming world and looks rather like a complete ripoff of the Tribes series.

Dude, I grew up playing Nintendo 64. It was my first video game system...I was literally born the same year it came out haha.
I have an Xbox 360 now, but I would choose N64 over X360 any day .

For me, this was hard but I had to go with the 360.There are many more capabilities than the 64(including online multiplayer)and many more features like friends and messages and a memory file that you can see.These are reasons why I chose the 360.

I'm not going to deny that the xbox 360 has better hardware, but only because its from, like, 15 years later. Also, loz oot and loz mm can kill halo any day of any week. They are the only games I have beaten more than 10 times by far. The fact that almost all of the N64 games are still huge fun today while most of these new games I cant even play through without stopping for a week wins my vote.
