Yes i do believe in god and i may not go to church but i am still a proud christian

Truth is that I'm not a big believer in any religion. They are all great stories, but hardly based on scientific, or factual evidence.

I respect peoples beliefs, I just choose to be Agnostic.

I do not belive in any religion but i do belive there is some kind of higher power.

Yes, I believe there is a God, because without Him my mom would be dead and I wouldn't be alive.

My mom was in a car crash when she was younger, and while she was in the hospital, she had died,
but through some strange miracle she came back to life. My mom says she saw God while she was dead.
He showed my mom her future, and that's what made my mom want to come back down to Earth,
to be with the family she will have one day.

It depends, there could be a higher power, A big bang, a heaven and a hell, Or past lives, or when we die we turn into animals, or we could be just gods ourselves, or our government could be controlled by aliens that came to this planet and decided to start a new race with animal here.. I really don't know, Even though I went to church everyday like 5 years ago.. But I left because everyone is very hypocritical, They say to not to be like the hypocrite but at the same time they judge the ones who are poor, the ones that wear different clothing. The ones that don't have a job. I brought a twilight book to church and a week later the minister starts saying how bad the book is and what it can do to our children, I felt like I got shunned down that day. I asked him why he did it and he just shrugged and said its bad.. I left and  I realized there's more to the world then just what the church teaches you. I have a job/friends. And people that care about me I don't think its right to make someone go to church, I think people should choose to or not. I love my life and I love what I do. So Maybe there's god, maybe there's not. So I would just say be good.. And one day you will know.

No. I am not a Christian and do not believe in God or Jesus either. Now i am sorry if this offends you in any type of way, but it is just what I believe and my point of view

Yes, and I can refute any argument someone may have against God's existence, believe me, I debate the topic quite frequently, I can give a reason for my faith and back it up, and it is in no sense "blind"; I guess most of you on this Board would call me a radical, it doesn't bother me, in fact in reinforces the fact that I'm doing what I should be. If I was never criticized for my faith, that would be an issue. Yes, I've been called a Jesus person, and a radical, and many other things many times....

Yes I do. Although not sensitive to open debate, I will defend my beliefs fiercely. Can I prove there is a god... I'm still walking this Earth. So yeah, guess I can.

In the circumstances where people believe that god has performed miracles, like saving your life, dosent it follow that he as all mighty and all powerfull is the reason you needed saving, the cause of the misfortune.

I believe in god. I also believe that there is not ONE thing that you can do without him. I may not pray everyday like some others, but I DO pray whenever it's most needed. It's funny though, because sometimes there's like this voice in my head that steers me from the wrong direction whenever I get negative thoughts.

 Yeah, I do. I'm not religious, though. I'm spiritual. Basically, I believe what feels right to me. Example: I agree with science on evolution and all that jazz, and believe in God; after all, we all know that God works in wonderous ways.

I don't; furthermore, I highly doubt any of you would if you hadn't been told to believe when you were children.

Do a quick thought experiment:

Imagine growing up in a world where there is no concept of a deity/deities. There is still civilization and ethics and laws, etc. -- but nobody has ever had the idea that something called "god" exists. It's simply not a part of anyone's world view. You have science, and philosophy and sociology and psychology, but no theology of any kind. You acknowledge that science doesn't explain everything, but recognize that, over the centuries, it has progressed to explain quite a lot. That which can't be explained is explored further.

Then, one day, someone comes to town and says, "There is a great being in the sky. This being is everywhere, he/she is all-knowing, and all-powerful. He/she created everything, including this planet and everything on it -- thus, including humans. You can't see this being, you can't hear it, and you can't prove that he/she actually exists; but, I say to you, can you prove that the invisible, all-knowing/powerful being doesn't exist? No. You can't. Therefore, you should believe he does, and thank him for all that you have."

I ask you, honestly, would that be enough to convince you to believe this story? Then why should it be enough to convince you now? Faith is what people have when they don't have answers and they don't want to explore further.  Beliefs have nothing to sustain them but faith.

Yes I believe in God, but not because "my parents told me so." I find it hard to explain, but sometimes it will strike me when I'm just walking along on a random day, sometimes it can be when I'm out fishing with my dad, it even might just be when I'm chilling with my friends, but there are moments when I feel like the luckiest person ever because of how good my life is, and I didn't do anything to earn it.

There is no physical evidence that I can give you that says that God exists, but there is no physical evidence that you can give me that says that God doesn't exist. In all honesty, when you say that it's just because you were told that he exists by someone else, it is no different than being told by someone that there was a big bang all of a sudden and just accepting that as truth. There might be "scientific evidence", but in all honesty, this is nothing more than speculation. The theory says that some material created more material; however, where did this material come from then? It is just a never ending chain if you're going to go down that road, it had to start somewhere, and I believe that everything started with God

yes i believe in god because he is real he also loves you takes you to heaven if you be a good person so be good go to church 

xxblackwarriorxx : Not sure if you are serious or not, but I don't believe that you are taken to heaven based on whether or not you are "good," I believe that if you realize that we sin and accept Jesus as the savior of our lives because of what he did, along with not actively and purposely rebelling against him (sinning), then you will be accepted. The firs step is letting God into your heart though.

Yes I believe in God, look at the world around you. Read your bible how can you deny him. Keep your faith.
