Okay, so let s say for the sake of argument that time travel is completely and totally possible.  Paradoxes and other flaws are prevented thanks to a team of inter-temporal sharpshooters where any violation of the rules is met with bullets.  If you could travel back in time for any reason, what would you do and why?

PS :   The rules include
1.No murdering famous figures or doing things that would cause serious disruptions in the time flow
2. No taking things from the past back to your time
3. You can't try to see the origin of the universe (Some things are better to just imagine)
4.You can't try to become your own grandpa.


I would personally travel back to the Roman empires to see whether or not Nero was really just watching his city burn during the great fire.  I find it a bit strange that a man would watch the incredibly huge flames instead of just, y'know, evacuating.

I would do the Back To The Future II thing, go back and gamble on all the big games and make a tremendous amount of money, then I would invest that money in companies I know are doing well today, like google, yahoo, mcdonalds, and other publicly traded businesses.

I wouldn't do much else.
