When I was younger I watched saw and I didn't find it that scary but the blood was the most disturbing and now I'm queasy whenever I see blood. Though it was an incredible movie.

I don't really think that this qualifies as a scary movie, but the Goonies scared the living crap out of me. I just remember being really scared of that movie and my parents forcing me to watch it.

My first one was The Raven. It was mainly just really gore-y. It wasn't really scary, just lots of shock value to it. I would say The Wicker Man, that one Nicolas Cage movie. But my friends and I agree, that's more of a comedy than a horror movie.

My first ever Horror movie was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 version), which I saw when I was about 6-7 years old, and I was extremely scared for around a month! It is a pretty bloody and graphic movie, and it really scared me. Now I look back at it and I'm like meh, I find the Leather-Face character pretty interesting, especially his backstory, but besides that I am really not scared of it now.

My first horror movie was Chucky. I was just a little kid when that came out, but that doll terrified me! Even worse, I remember there being a poster for the movie displayed somewhere near where I used to live. I've definitely cried at least once having to endure that.

I slept between my parents for over a year I think, because I was too terrified of being alone. Even seeing a funny clip of George Bush dancing and his head making a 360 turn in it made me freak out. I'm a big horror fan nowadays and I agree that the Exorcist is a masterpiece but at the same time it's the most terrible film I've ever seen.
