So lately everytime i wake up i get a sore throat that only last for a few minutes. I try and drink water but it only does so much. Its been 5 mornings that it was happened in a row. Can someone try and explain why?

I've had the same problem as well for a long time. I myself  have heartburn occasionally, and when I asked the doctor about it, he said that when I lay down and sleep, heartburn might make the throat sore next morning, as it can affect the throat more easily  when you're in a horizontal position. But if you don't have that, then I don't suppose I can be any more help. I hope you can find a solution for your problem soon.
