So as you probably know, PSN was down for a while, and now that it's back up Sony is giving PS3 owners a nice welcome back package, 2 free PS3 game downloads, 2 free PSP game downloads, a free 30 day PlayStation Plus subscription, and some crappy movie rentals, LOL

So what I want to know is, what do you think of this package?  Do you think it makes up for PSN being down?

Do you have a PSP or PS3?  If so, which free games did you pick?  I chose Infamous and Little Big Planet for PS3, but my PSP memory stick isn't big enough to hold any of the PSP games  Oh well, maybe I'll pick up a 4 gig in the next few days.

BTowns : it wasnt there fault and i respect that they took there time to ensure the new software would protect the ps3 users.thanks for reminding me about the movies.
By pure bad luck i had most of the games offered so i chose infamous which im enjoying.
I also downloaded dead nation(it was either that or ratchet and clank,which i hate) but i havent played it yet,i just figured i might as well choose a 2nd game.

I chose Dead Nation and WipEout HD. I find myself liking WipEout HD more than Dead Nation. They're both good games, but WipEout is easier to get into, and I'm not even that much of a fan of racing games. This one has good music, and the custom soundtrack is done well. The controls are some of the best I've seen for a racing game.

The game is so stylish looking, and easy to like that I might be playing it a whole day at some point. Dead Nation is fun, but the game's lighting makes it hard to enjoy. The game is a zombie killing game, but what's the point in making it have such hard to see killing area. Looks like the bad lighting thing could be the cause of me not playing it on an HDTV.

I haven't yet gotten the two games yet, but all I know is that I shall get LittleBigPlanet. I don't know the other game I'm getting, whichever one seems interesting when I take another look. Although I also forgot the choices, I have tried the demo of LittleBigPlanet, and I really enjoyed it.

Galacta :   If you're into action games with a bit of puzzle, I really recommend InFamous.  Great replay value, and it's easy setting is perfect for a novice like me who's never played a third person shooter like that before, and it's hard setting is enough of a challenge to make me die tons even on my second play through.  I actually prefer it over little big planet.
