Makes sense to me, the only people who could post today were those on in the early morning, and those on from 10 PM EST-1 AM EST.

That's less than half a day of posting, so it's reasonable.

yeah... if the downtime was an hour here or there it might not be as big of a deal... but I could very easily make 40-50 posts and win the day and few people would have a chance to compete with me.

I didn't have a chance to compete yesterday due to the site being down. The site started working at 12 PM Eastern Time, giving me one hour to post. I made about 15 and ranked near the very bottom with three or two points.

I don't think I had any posts at all due to the downtime. But if it's David working to make the site better... then, I'm fine with that.

I got a chuckle when I looked at the Active users page saw that posts had gone from 100-200-somethings to just 30's and 40's. I don't think I could get on at all yesterday. Maybe in the morning (for me) but for the rest of the day it was down.

Yeah, I couldn't even access to the Board at 11AM to 7PM (my time)

and I just went to sleep... Then it's 2:45 AM, and now I can post. =P

Yep, for me I couldn't get on untill about 11 PM (EST) and I got a few posts after midnight, but not too much.

I stopped being able to get on around noon.
Then it finally worked about 9pm.

I haven't been able to get on since two days ago

Or maybe I'm just unlucky with trying to get on here and try every time it's down and miss the uptimes

you've probably been missing the uptimes... cause they have happened.


Oh, and just so people know.... today's VCS is not gonna happen either.... it's not fair to people if they can't get online for parts of the day. Not like it was earlier in the week where you weren't able to get on for 2 or 3 minutes and then got back on. Hours of downtime sort of ruin VCS chances.

Today is cancelled too? Well, that will be two days in a row that the downtimes has stopped the vcs...kinda killing it, but I agree on the decision.

it's the only fair thing to do. If people choose to not post for a day that's one thing, but not being able to post because the board is up for some and down for others or down for everyone makes it hard to have a fair competition.

Yeah, I agree, btw when are you going to post the results for the June 16th VCS?

I wasn't sure if it was my crappy connection trying to access the site, while there was already a bunch of traffic, or if it was maintenance.
