Maybe you shower everyday.. or maybe every other day. Maybe you don't shower but once every 4 days.

I shower twice a day. I have a professional job that requires a shower during the day. After work, I'll go to the beach, lift, run, or play sports and I shower when I'm done with those activities.

Even on the weekend, I'll take a shower early to wake up and get moving and I'll shower at night.

I'm one to shower every other day. Unless I've been sweating a lot, doing work that gets me very dirty or getting ready to go out to a bar/club I don't feel the need to shower every single day. I don't really sweat a lot which is the main reason I would shower, even being here in Afghan. Thought lately I have been showing every day. It's been hot here, but it's the gym that gets me sweating. It can be really hot in there with so many people working out. And it's usually my back that's wet by the time I'm finished. I feel all icky and take a quick rinse with soap until I'm satisfied. There have been times I've went two days without showering, but I don't feel right at all when that happens. Even if I still feel clean on the second day I'll take one anyway because it's in the back of my mind that I need to.

Having an addiction to electronics I admit that it reduced my hygiene, and showering was one part of it.  There were times were I did not shower for four days.    That was about the worst of it.  I was typically showering every other day.  However, coming across this thread has encouraged me to get back into showering once a day.  Thanks for the unintentional motivation Binsty!

I like to let the sweat sit on me, it revitalizes me in a way, and oddly enough I didn't smell bad. I was actually one of the neutral smelling people.

I smelled like air. At least according to some people. I would play basketball in the gym, and come to class sweating, I'd go running, and come home sweating. I'd do anything and let the sweat sit, and no one thought I really smelled that bad. I was a little amazed.

I am not a very sweaty person, my skin is not oily, and my hair does not get greasy very quickly. So I can get away with showering less often than most people my age. During the winter, I usually shower once every four days, and when it's warmer out I shower every other day.

If I do end up sweating a lot, or getting chlorine in my hair, I will
shower with just water and rinse myself off, but not soap. Showering
every day with soap is not right for my skin or hair.

My skin is slightly dry to begin with, and using soap every day strips what little
natural oil I have, and leaves me extremely dry and uncomfortable. I have a routine of using a small amount of soap so my skin doesn't get too irritated.
