I do not register on many forums, most of the time it is because I have nothing to say. Even though I have been around playing games here for a day or two, I find that I rather like this site. It seems to be a far better alternative for playing old games you have not tried yet, then buying it online or trying to find it's rom. Which is why I want to see this site survive into the future.

I plan on becoming a game developer after I get a good paying job and can start to live on my own. If nothing else I would like to do it as more of a hobby, but plan for it to be my main career.

My current plan is to take light schooling to get a CPA so I can get a job that can support me. Then go back to school for a double major of accounting and game programming, with a minor in game design and maybe creative writing. This will allow me to live on my own while I try to enter the game industry. I have no talent for drawing so I don't think I could make games by myself.
