I have had braces before. But I got them off I believe the beginning of this year. I also used to wear glasses cause I was near sited but I don't wear them anymore.

I never had braces before, but I wear glasses. I have to wear them to see what I'm typing. I'm near sighted too and without them everything is blurry. So I have to have them specially when I'm driving.

pieman9 : yeapppp! When You just get them they hurttt like crapp but then you get used to them after a period of time but every time I would go back to the dentist to get a check up they would tighten my braces and every time I wasn't able to eat alot cause it hurt so bad

But they will hurt when you first get them on and You probably won't be able to eat much.. every checkup I had They hurt to after they tighten it.Just a heads up

I use to have braces when I was 12. I had a noticeable gap between my two front teeth...so my Orthodontist suggested I wear braces for a year. Now my teeth are perfectly fine and the gap is closed.

As for contacts I have no use for so I don't wear them.

I wear glasses but I don't see it as a burden in any way I haven't suffered any social outcast-meant (if that's a word) because of it and I used to be in scouts and we did LOADSS of stuff in there like archery,wide games (running around in a forest at midnight) and rollercoastering and loads of other cool stuff not only did my glasses not hold me back they never even fell off, also I think they look pretty dam snazzy on me. Oh and they don't hinder me with... pardon the expression... ladies either :p
