so ive been thinking. and this is meant for no other purpose then a quick laugh. if you need trust points to be a trusted member, and you can only give trust points if you ARE a trusted member. then wouldn't that imply that when the website began there were only a select few individuals who chose whether or not to allow someone to be trusted? is such an omnipotent power truly worthy of being called mortal? can an individual handle that kind of power? then it hits me. what about the people who become trusted because of those people. and the people trusted by those. is there a never ending chain of trust. a position with wich can drive a man to the brink of insanity, or another to the ray of light, we call heaven. how do you not know that trust is merely something that can be given and accepted with a click of a button. is that truly who you wish to be presented as?

Going off what thecasualty said, TP's truly aren't that important. I don't think I've ever given anyone Trust Points, and the extra Viz you can get from posts isn't very huge because, frankly, I've no need for Viz.

how do you even earn or give trust points is it that thing at the side of the user that saya (rate) ? and i thought TP was important as you need to become a trusted member to have all the custom stuff to add to posts or to get a more senior position in the forum board also Viz is important to play all the games the main reason im here is to get 8000 points so i can buy that gba thing in the item store (all gba games for free woop)

Great over analysis of trust points, Made me chuckle a bit.

There's only so far you can go with an analysis. But this isn't deep enough!

Wouldn't you say that the original people who implemented the trust points were trying to make a statement about the evils behind human nature and how greedy people act with power? And that they're trying to set an example of an ideal society where trust is given to those by those deemed trustworthy? Or the exact opposite where trust is only something like money and people only pull strings for their friends, leaving the rest to rot in the dirt?
