Lately everyone I know has been talking about May 21, which is tomorrow. People at church keep telling me to celebrate the Rapture and to trust in the judgment of the Lord but I'm really nervous. That's because what most of the people at my church don't know is that I really like to suck on other men's penises and receive anal sex from other men, sometimes even two times in the same day. I know the Bible says that this stuff is illegal but I really don't want to be left behind tomorrow when the time comes. I'm scared and I don't know what to do. I don't know who else I can turn to.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to capitalize Bible.

Dev : 3 things.

1. May 21 is not the day of the rapture. It's not biblically based. The Bible speaks of different things that would happen before Jesus would return and that no one would know the day or the hour that Jesus will return.

2. You kinda got the emotional response of the people from the rapture partially correct. You actually get 3 responses. The Christians will celebrate the rapture, because they would be raptured and they would with God (according to pre-millennial beliefs). Those who are not Christians, either know or don't know what happen, would be terrified. Then there will be those who don't care what happen, and continue doing what they normally do.

3. Like I said, those who are Christians would be raptured. What do you know about Christianity?

you're right, the Bible does say that homosexuality is wrong. That being said, that doesn't necessarily mean that you won't be "raptured" when the time does come.

Everyone sins against God. There's no denying that. I would say that I've done some things that I'm not too proud of myself, and we all struggle with stuff like that everyday as Christians. The fact that you acknowledged that it's wrong is already a step forward. You're struggling, and that means a lot, because now that you acknowledge that it's a problem, you know that you're not falling deep into sin, and that shows that your conscience is at work. You just have to keep fighting it, and eventually, maybe you'll get rid of it for good.

Keep fighting , and keep growing in your faith.

I didn't need to know the elaborate details of your sex-life...but any addiction can be overcome within a dependence on God to free you from its stronghold. That said, if you have dependence on God through faith in Christ, then you can have confidence in the Rapture.

[Edit] - Test -

My problem with the description is that it sounds like you are living in sin as a lifestyle. It doesn't sound like a struggle against sin, and the Bible says that when someone becomes a Christian, there would be a change in a person's life due to the Holy Spirit dwelling in them to sanctify the person(2 Corinthians 5:17). You still struggle in sin because you are still in a faulty body, but the belief in the gospel and God's power is how a person turns from a slave of sin to a slave of righteousness (Romans 6:18). I'm not you, so I would not know your heart, your motive, or your understanding. However, if you are living in a lifestyle of sin, that is one of the possible signs that someone is not saved by God (1 John 3:8).
