....was a WIN until it turned into a semi-massive FAIL.

Ordered a few hygiene items online since they don't have the kind I like at the PX in the middle of a desert. Go figure. The stuff came in today. I ordered toothpaste, a toothbrush and a men's razor blade as shown below.

What goes through a person's mind that make him/her think it's a fantastic idea to send a bag full of feminine hygiene stuff, even if free, when a men's hygiene product is ordered? Are they hoping I'll somehow want to convert to being a female? It's not really like I'm in the States right now, with the possibility of living with a woman who could find a use for it. That I could understand. Just a little. But hell, the address- It's APO, AE with a zip code that's in a hostile overseas environment. I have no woman living with me. Unless you count the females living in the same barracks here. I don't know, maybe they're simply doing a promotional campaign for the things in the bag. At least, I would think so, because if not, then this just as ridiculous as the incident in which I received a 99.9% cheeseburger from McDonald's a year and a half ago while on leave.

Hm. Well, I did find a use for the bag of stuff. Gave it to a female here in the barracks. I even proved to her I didn't order it by showing her my receipt.

That's really nice, giving it to someone.

I bet the jerk at Wal-Mart thought it was funny to do that, but he didn't know you were a solider. He probably wouldn't have done that if he knew.

Nothing wrong with free stuff I guess, but that was a bit ridiculous. I've ordered things an got free things like faith bracelets, cards, and once a candle, but this was a little bit over the top haha.

I guess they just automatically include the free samples without really caring about what was ordered! At least you were able to give it to someone who could make use of it. That is pretty silly hahaha

I did order something from target that I'm still waiting on. I wonder if I'll get any more free thing. I order bowls. Maybe I'll open the package up and some paper cups or something.

Lol congrats on the woman products. What more do you expect from Wal-Mart though? Most of their labor is cheap labor by people who don't speak/read English fluently.

I'm sorry, but I laughed hard at that. Must have been a mix up in the order. Or perhaps mistaken you for a woman. Who knows. At least you made use of the products you received and helped out a fellow soldier. Makes you wonder what other kinds of surprises you will get for ordering stuff now. Lol

Simple mistake, especially seeing with the numerous amount of orders they probably get, this is bound to happen once in awhile. You're the lucky one, the person who didn' get their stuff is the one that suffered

At least the order came at all. I preordered Sonic Riders from Wal-Mart.com and never got it in the mail. Now I feel animosity towards Walmart's online services...
