My review for Special 'S' Forces--
This game was pretty good, it was a long game, and it kept me interested in it.I really enjoyed the little extras they put in, it has Darth Vader,Professor Oak,and a few other people you might remember from other places. Well i really thought this game was a nice game it kept me up for a while trying to figure out the quests, they are pretty challenging to figure out where to go.That got tireing after a while, walking around talking to people,But the story kept me interested untill i beat the game.Not many rpg's do that,you usually get board after walking around for ever, but this one,amazingly didn't get boring.It has really nice tile sets and character animations in the game. its well worth the download. i would give this game a 8.5/10 This game was pretty good, it was a long game, and it kept me interested in it.I really enjoyed the little extras they put in, it has Darth Vader,Professor Oak,and a few other people you might remember from other places. Okay, to start, I try to stay 100% objectional and fair in my reviews, finding good and bad points of a Rpg. Let's get started, shall we? Graphics: 2/10 Alright, I have nothing against using default graphics in a game. I mean, for a lot of beginners, that is all they can work with. So Defaults are ok, and this game used defaul everything. Characters, tilesets and BGM. Some of the stuff was poorly done, Sadly. The treasure chests were just placed on the maps, without using them as an event. So yeah, they had those annoying blue boxes around them. Storyline: 1/10 Did it have a storyline? I just remember my ship crashing and being on an island looking around for a guy named Gandalf (very original  ) Aside from looking aimlessly on the island for some elusive magician, you have to stop off at pretty poorly made 'cities' and talk to random NPC's. The first guy who joins you, Leon, just says "oh yeah, you must be Ark. Gandolf told me about you. you'll need to me bash the monsters for you". Hmmm ... it could have been improved upon.
Difficulty (out of 5 stars) **** Characters are poorly equipped, it's hard to get equipment, but when you do finally level up, some of the monsters are just way too easy to beat. Definantly not for someone who hates leveling for hours on end. Overall I didn't get much enjoyment out of this game. This is a nice look of nostalgia for me. Shadowed Sun is the story of a boy named Sirus and his friend Maya. The story starts quite simple. Maya drops her ring into a well, Sirus being the head strong fool he is, climbs into the well (obviously to impress Maya) but the rope slips and he must find a way out of the well. Oh, and while getting a rope, Maya falls into the well as well! Oh my! Once they reach the end of the well, they must fight a werewolf (how it got into the well, I have no idea) and they discover their village is completely empty. Upon further inspection, they head to the forest behind the village to see al of the villagers gathered at a plaque. The plaque releases a demon, the demon wipes out the villagers, and so starts our quest. The game had a lot of highs and lows. The maps were nicely made, no qualms there. i give Vegeta Jr's adventure a 7 it wasn't that bad actually i wouldn't mind playing it again i had to stop playing it because my computer keep glitching up i can't really download anything anyways so i played a little bit of it and it was pretty cool |
