Was their anyone in your life that you really thought you could trust and then find that person violating that trust?

I recently let someone into my life, which is not something i easily do because of the neighborhood i live in, and i was having him come in and hang out with me, use my Xbox, be around my personal affects, and then the other day i busted him stealing from me, and he still denies it, like I'm stupid.

None, because I don't let anyone easily touch my heart. Except from my family, I only really have 1 trusted friend that I could leave in our house without worrying that she'll steal something, or in any way will hurt me intentionally.
We even let each other keep our stuff like house or car keys, or maybe our cell phones since we're confident enough that we'll not check each other's inbox.
If I need to get something from their house, she'll just give me the keys, and vise versa.

That's why I got called loner in school. Well it's not my fault that I don't consider a person a friend so easily.

Erie, I recently had he same sort of thing happen. The situation was similar as well. since I moved to this area of Tennessee I haven't made any friends. When I first got here I met a couple guys and both told me not to trust people I meet around here. Due to the nature of our work I knew they had to be trustworthy, so I listened. A couple weeks ago I broke down and let this guy that just moved in down the street come over to play games and watch sports. I caught him stealing from me and of course, he lied about it. Just three days ago I get a knock on the window, it was him confessing and apologizing. I was shocked, but the validation was nice.

I let EVERYONE in my life. My life is an open book and I trust everyone completely. I have never been let down and no one has ever really hurt me. Some people do something things I don't like but I forgave them and moved on with more important things.

Mostly it happened to me with friends. Reason why i carefully choose who i have as friends. It's sad & pathetic to see people do that, but that's life isn't it? Seems like you can't trust anyone without getting stabbed in the back eventually. That's why you have to be cautious when trusting people. My motto is: "trust no one except God"
