I enjoy all birds. They are some of my favorite animals. They are not only adorable but also very intelligent and can form a very strong companionship with people. I would consider adopting any bird that needed a home, if I had the time, space and money for it.

Right now I have a parakeet. She is tame and finger-trained. Her cage is where she sleeps and eats (also for time out when she is being a brat), but my entire bedroom is like her home and playroom. I do not clip her wings so she is free to fly around where ever she wants. I play with her for the majority of my day when I'm home. She is very affectionate.

I would have to say that the classic parrot is the best bird you can have. After you've had it for a while, you can see what words it's picked up over time and teach it new phrases. It's fun to have mini-conversations with parrots. x3
