Yes, this happens too often. I use Google Chrome and sometimes when I have a couple of tabs opened, I click the wrong X. So instead of closing the individual tab, I accidentally click the X on the upper right side. It frustrates me at times.

Yeah, I use Ctrl+W to close my tabs in Opera and sometimes I hold it down for too long and close multiple tabs. Fortunately, there's a "recently closed tabs" option under history so I can just open them back off. But I get angry because I can't use the back button.
