Well when I was like 7 or 8 I just got my first Pokemon game Blue Version) back in the late 90's and I didn't know better but I fainted 2/3 legendary birds and Mewtwo without care. Next gen I was more into it and knew to save before encounters, preparing, and using the internet to find out stuff

Well, when we were younger, there were numerous times when my brother and I had our Pokemon yellow games restarted either from GameShark codes or Missigno. I had a surfing Raichu too! lol. The surfing pikachu game is the best, but restarting yellow is terrible!

Also, I was young and threw away 2nd gen items in Gold like Upgrade and King's Rock. I finally completed my Red Pokedex a couple years ago, but I'll never be able to complete Gold on my own since I threw those aways and KO'd Sudowoodo. Also can't remember what I used my master ball on in Gold

You could count this as stupid, but I was just doing it for the lolz. I went to go fight Red when my Pokemon were only in their 60's. Needless to say, I got wiped pretty badly. xD

It was waaaaaay back in the Red/Blue/Yellow generation of pokemon. I was playing red, surfing around the cinnabar island, where i first found the infamous missingno. I was about...7 or 8 at the time, so i had no real knowledge about huge game glitches like that. And admittedly, i was curious as to what the hell it was, so, I caught it. Big mistake. Next thing i know, trainer images are reversed, people are speaking backwards, pokemon are invisible yet still in battle...and ultimately the game stopped saving or working. As luck had it, i was one of the unfortunate few who had first encountered missingno, and in no time at all my friends were all talking about it and how crazy it was..i was upset my red was messed up. However, Yellow came out some time after, and that was my favorite of the series, so alls well that ends well.

I let my little brother play around, and he ended up starting a new game and saving it....... *face palm*. Not, as I clearly didn't learn the first time, I let him play the game another time in the future. What was worse was that I showed him the MissingNo glitch to multiply items because he was having problems leveling up. I told him not to catch it. What does he do? Catch it........ forget the face palm. *head bash on concrete floor*.

The stupidest thing I had ever done was met my little niece play my copy of Pokemon Emerald a year ago. I didn't have every Pokemon, but I had a lot of Pokemon I did have up to level 100. Playing against my friends, I was frickin unstoppable. I gave my GBA to my niece and specifically told her NOT TO START A NEW FILE. Needless to say, she did end up starting a new file and saved the game. I literally gave up trying to achieve everything I did in that game. I barely play the game now since it reminds me of that day.
