Here is my first review using the new review system.

This is reviewing "Pokemon Trading Card Game" for the Game Boy Color.

Graphics (7): Graphics are alright in this game. They're comparable to Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, which came out at about the same time as this. All of the sprites and maps look errorless, and the card drawings themselves are nicely done.

Sound (9): This feature is excellent in the game. All of the separate areas in the game have their own little tunes, along with the Leader battles. Most all of them are nicely composed, too.

Addictiveness (10): Wow, this game rocks in this category. Like the original Pokemon, your goal in this game is to Catch Em' All (or, I guess, in this game, Collect em' All ) and to defeat the Leaders and a group similar to the Elite 4. The character you control's dream is to collect the "legendary cards", very rare cards quite similar to the legendary Pokemon feature in the traditional RPGs. Needless to say, if you decide to complete this task, it'll take a long while and most likely you'll be hooked until you get most of your collection complete.

Story (7): Nothing really unique in this, but I guess it's an all right story. It adds a few twists to the regular type plot, keeping things interesting.

Depth (10): Supposing you read the part about addictiveness, you should be getting my point about this game. It takes a lot of time and a lot of dedication to complete, and that's because of the multiple card collectors and cards to collect. Tons of depth in this game, along with most other Pokemon games.

Difficulty (7): It's pretty difficult to defeat all of the leaders. They each have their own type, and they each have their own strategies. If you take on the challenge of collecting all of the cards, the game's difficulty goes up quite a few notches.

Overall/Average: 8

All in all, this is a very good game.

All reviews should be modeled after this lol.

I actually really liked this game but that's because my wife and I use to play the card game together a bit. This is a very underrated game, glad to see someone rate it.

I agree that it is very addictive.

Davideo7 : If you really wanted to, you could post a sticky of a model review. I think it would be worth the space.

For the thread... I doubt anyone would even care about what I think after Davideo's post, but I'll vouch for this game all the same. It's pretty good.

Good review cassu, I agree with pretty much all of your ratings here.
