I'd have to disagree with you about that being one of the only good games for nes. Alot of them are good, especially the final fantasy games. 3 being the best. But for platformes, it would have to be SMB3. There aren't many good platformer games for the NES, there i'd agree.

Battle Toads is the hardest, Ninja Gaiden is the coolest, and Super Mario Bros. 3 is the longest if you don't count the retries. They are all really great games and i think everyone should try them at least once.
