My choice would definitely have to be Lapras. Older pokemon are always better, especially when they're first gen. Plus, Lapras looks waaaaay cooler.

I feel I must go with Lapras. I have and most likely will always like first generation Pokémon over all. The reason for that is I played fire red and watched the first season of the show way too much as a kid. I think Lapras outranks Carracosta. I did not really like the Black and White Pokémon. I actually have used both Pokémon and can easily say I would much rather have a Lapras on my side than a Carracosta.

I would pick Carrocosta since Lapras seems only like a water type of Pokemon and will have plenty of struggles when on land, while Carrocosta has 2 legs and 2 arms and can easily surpass land and water.

I picked Lapras. I didn't get to use a Carracosta on my team since I picked the Plume Fossil, but but I've used Lapras many times through Blue. Plus I hate the Rock/Water type. It does itself no favors withthat combination.
