If you are Mormon... Or "Christian"... You probably shouldn't watch this.

This video is about finding the truth behind the Bible and the Book of Mormon.

The reason I say that you shouldn't watch it, is because you might hold something true that this video proves false. The reason I say "Christians"(note the quotes) shouldn't watch it, is because most Christians I know respond Negatively to anything that questions blind faith, which is usually what they have. I think that's horrible. I'm Christian (not "Christian"), and my faith is VERY clear and visual. I know that my Religion is true, and if you have blind faith, then you WILL stumble and fall. The reason, is that the Road is very narrow, and if your eyes are not open to things like this, then you will blindly stumble off the edge.

Sorry "Christians". If your faith is blind, then ye shall not learn, and ye will not see Jesus when He comes again.

sorry, waste of my time... the arguments I listened to I've heard before and are nothing new to me or to Mormons....

So every mormon, even the recently baptized, has heard EVERY one of those things before? How interesting. I've been baptized mormon, and I was not familiar with those arguments OR that video, before I posted this.

Choose your words wisely. I think it was Saint James who said that. "For if any man offendeth not in word, the same is a perfect man"

well obviously not every Mormon has heard the arguments.... but many have. And most of those arguments have been refuted in books and articles that I've read.

I think people who try to tear down the faith of other people are sick. I have no problem with people promoting their own religions, but when you come up with entire videos about how someone else is wrong, you really need to find something better to do with your time. Is your own faith/religion good enough on it's own to just entice people to it? Or do lies and deceit work best?


You're a baptized Mormon? Would you say that you are currently a Mormon, or were you just baptized and have since changed your mind? (Just curious)

That depends on your beliefs.
You could say that my Ex-girlfriend (at the time...) (the one who broke the promise...) is a "Straight Up" mormon, and that I am a mormon "On the Rocks".
Interpret those drinking terminologies how you will.

What did Jesus say when you asked him a question? Did he give you a straight answer, or babble on about olive bushes and mustard seeds?

Scribes: The people writing down the bible.
Therefore, what makes you think that you shouldn't be confused when you read it?

the scribes did very little of the writing of the bible.... maybe they recorded some of the stories which were later retold by the actual writers of the books.... but I'm pretty sure they are not actually the authors of the Bible.

That's right. The "real" authors of the bible were the priests in the churches, 600-1400 years after Jesus. =)
