I always forget to save, and then if I mess up I get an INCREDIBLY annoying game over. Every time I get really far in the game, I always mess up at the final boss. Anyone else always forget to save, or do you just not bother?

yeah thats happened to me a lot
getting too stoked for the last battle and forgetting to save only to realize i don't have the right gear equipped and then i get owned and i have to repeat the dungeon

Oh yes, I hate that.

Especially when you play for like two hours without saving, then die. I'd be like "WHAT" and then I'd swear. I'd be totally turned off by that game for a while (after all, who wants to do something you've already done for a few hours?)

I just love it when...

You spend 24+ hours level/CP grinding on FFXIII, only to come across a save point before the boss fight. I use the save point. Look away for a few seconds. Go to the boss fight, get Pwned and then find out the game didn't save and all that time wasted will never come back.

I get so paranoid when it comes to saving. I save twice just to make sure I don't forget. I even go as far as to save it again in another slot if the game allows lol. It's just a habit that I hope I never break as it is a very useful one! I think I started doing this because I got really far in red version back in the day and my batteries died on me, ergo, losing everything.

Yep, it's definitely annoying to save in a lot of games that resets the game when you get a game over. I remember once I forgot to save after beating some boss in FFX and I turned off the game. .-.
