What I do a lot more often is burn my tongue on too-hot food, or drinks from Starbucks. it sucks because your tongue feels sore and you can't taste properly for up to a few days.

i dont generaly do it that often, i did once bite it so hard that people actualy heard it crunch and i could only eat with one side of my mouth for weeks.
i remember saying to a friend as i ate a sandwich i could finally eat normal again, and literaly as soon as i said it i bit it as hard as the first time and again could only eat on one side, wasnt impressed.

I would say that it does happen to me that often either. (approximately 3 out of 365 days in a year). But when it happens it really does hurt. There's also those awkward moments when you're engaged in conversation and suddenly you bite your tongue.It's so annoying!

It happens rarely to me, but my cheek is another story. When I bite either I get horrid sores that last for a day or two so I can't eat anything with salt or the sores grow!!! x.O* Also when I do so I usualy rage and eat my food faster just to get it done with. >.<

When I realize that. I bit down hard piercing my tongue and leaving behind a hole. My whole mouth went numb and blood just pouring out. When the numbness went away. The pain was agonizing. I clean my tongue only to see the hole in my tongue. Ugh. That's one way to get your tongue pierced.
