If so, what was a the cause?
Was it Grand Mal (tonic-clonic, the one most people think of when they hear seizure.)? Febrile (with a fever)? Petite Mal (Not as well known as the grand mal. No spasms other than possibly a little twitching.)?
I have never had a seizure, and don't plan on it.

I've never had one myself, but I know someone that does. They are Grand Mal seizures, and the doctors aren't sure what's causing them.

pacman1755 : Seizures actually aren't painful. During the actual seizure (not pre/post ictal) you don't feel anything. Your brain basically shuts down and restarts.

I've never had one, and I've only seen one person have one in real life. It's freaky because they don't behave like themselves and you get really scared. I've learned to clear the area around a person when they have one so they don't potentially hurt themselves.

Being epileptic, yes. =| I haven't had one since I was about two, though when I finally got to go off my medication.  I used to have Grand Mal seizures, and they really freaked my parents out. =| The doctor told me that the only thing that would trigger one for me nowadays would be drinking alcohol. I'm supposing that my epilepsy went dormant or something, but I'm not taking any chances.

I have seen a kid, a few years ago, who had a seizure in the middle of science class. Kids were looking at him, lol. We were learning something about blood capillaries or something of that nature.

I thankfully have never had a seizure in my life, and I'm hoping to keep it that way. I feel terrible for people that have to go through life with the affliction of having frequent seizures. It seems like a tough way to live life.
