Oh gawd I gotta say I hated gen 4 the most. D/P/Pt had terrible looking pokemon. I enjoy gen 5 for it's gameplay but the pokemon from gen 4 and five either 1)look fake or 2) make it obvious that they are running out of ideas.

Generation 5 no doubt. Nintendo is running out of ideas for Pokémon. I went on Bulbapedia and checked out the Unova Pokedex, worst excuses for Pokémon. I saw a duck, a coffin and the worst one of all, an ice cream cone. It's like there not even trying anymore.

I feel like a grumpy old man who just can't accept things that are new. But I pretty much never kept track of any Pokemon past the first generation (original 151 Pokemon). I don't know why, but the Pokemon past them just never really interested me much. I tried to get into it, but none of them were able to catch my liking like the originals did. I think it is because they just got too weird and random. The originals were like a twist version of real animals. The newer generation seems more like random little monsters. I don't know. Maybe I am being a grumpy old man who likes the old days.

Gen IV is definitely my least favorite (I can't say anything about V since I never played it and I am too lazy to actually look at all the Pokemon ). When I saw the Pokemon of Gen IV, only a few of them caught my interest. A good number of them were just random evolutions of previous Pokemon, and while some of them are cool (Gallade), most of them aren't very good at all. Plus the gameplay felt really slow compared to the previous generation (like they took a step back into Gen I) and Team Galactic was probably the least interesting out of all the Team ____ groups. I dunno, I just don't like the grunts designs I guess, but I did kinda like Cyrus.

Kinda sucks to see how a good number of people here think Gen III is the worst. Feels like a lot of Pokemon fans skipped over III and moved to IV almost. Gen III is my second favorite Gen.

 gen5. the pokemon are hilarios. but the only good thing i loike about gen 5 is the bueitifull graphics. and in gen 4, the animé became terrible. oh well at least they got rid of dawn in gen5
