Mine is when I finished Pokemon Gold Version, I then realized that Red and Blue version was a waste of time since after catching them all Red decided to go up Mt. Silver and stand in place for 2 years waiting for a dude to walk up to him, beat up his best Pokemon, and then take his money EVERY DAY.

I hated in Mario Bros. RPG when you fight the final boss for like an hour or so and then die. I do not mean the one on the SNES either, I mean any of them. Those games have like the longest end bosses that I have ever seen. Dieing at the end is the worst.

^ Losing your save file is definitely terrible, as well as getting far into a boss fight then dying, or making a lot of progress without saving then crashing.

I actually likes seeing members of your team getting killed off, assuming it makes the plot better.

The absolute cheapest thing that I can think of that happened to me off the top of my head is when the game simply refuses to work at a specific point due to irreparable damage that isn't your fault whether it be a glitch or disk/cartridge damage.

When Alys died in Phantasy Star 4. It was quite sad. I also honestly have trouble with Final Fantasy X because I know Yuna is going to basically lose it when Tidus disappears.
And...AND! I had a perfect save file on my cartridge of Earthbound. I actually got the Sword of Kings on my first try. Max levels. Best equips for everybody. I booted it up, and it was all gone. It...it was horrible.

If you lost all your lives at Stage 3 (Waitono Caves),Your Kiwi goes to the heaven...And there you see his girlfriend caught waiting for him...But he never will rescue her  

Anyways,I think in one of the versions of the game you still can continue the game after that screen (On the version I played you can't)

The worst for me was the 'Kill a Bear with a Knife' Hunter challenge in RDR. 3 times it ripped me off. THREE TIMES. The first time, I almost had it and a second bear spawned right behind me an pwned me, the second time a pack of f****** wolves showed up, and they were aggressive enough that the bear got away while I was dealing with them. The third time though... That was the WORST. I almost had that bear when ONE WOLF showed up, and bit the bear ONE TIME and it DIED. TTT_TTT

One of many bad moments in gaming for me was when I was playing the super hard Ikari Warriors for the NES...I was on the last level blasting my way through enemies when my dog unplugged the NES.
