I vote both. While Ninja's have the speed advantage in most cases, Samurai's have the skill affect. Or the speed in use of weaponry ability. It's hard to be either and beat the other one. It would pretty much be an endless battle of agility, so therefore, I vote both.

I say both. They are both loyal to their masters and lords. They go out on the battle field intending to die for their land while the ninjas goes in the shadow assassinating their target to help out the war with the samurai, but imagine if one out them faced each other off. Now that would be an epic battle. The ninja would most likely win due to his tricks he could utilize during the fight.
