pacman1755 : Yes I have experienced losses in life… I’ve lost friends I’ve lost grandparents and lost a cousin. It hurts but I try and remember the good times and that their in a better place… I’m sorry for your loss, my sister has been battling breast cancer for almost three years now and I have lost some family members to cancer so I know how it feels. My condolences to you…

M!cH@3l 001 : Not a dupe from what I can see.

Been alive 30 years and haven't lost anyone yet. Well actually one of my aunts on my dad's side last year, right before I came here to Afghan. But I've only met her maybe once in my life so I really didn't know her well. Her daughter, my cousin, I have seen a few times, and have her on facebook.

I've lost a few relatives, although I wasn't all that close to many of them.
Particularly, my great-grandmother died after having a stroke and never really recovering a few years ago. It was sad, but not the worst...
The worst was October 2nd, 2003. I was 7 years old, it was my sister's 6th birthday, and we had just gone through a mass moving of my Dad's family; our family and my dad's two brothers had all moved that summer. So, we had been helping move stuff in, particularly at my Dad's youngest brother's house, as he had moved most recently. Our family was really, really close at that time, and we all went to my grandparents' house after church every Sunday.
Then, on October 2nd, things changed. My Dad's youngest brother, Mark, was training to become an electrician, and was working on a house that was being built at the time. His partner had forgotten to insulate a section of the wiring, and my Dad's brother was electrocuted. I believe he had died by the time he got to the hospital; my sister's birthday had been ruined, his wife was widowed, and his one-year-old son was left fatherless. It brought us even closer for a time, when we met at my now widowed aunt's house daily...but things kind of dropped off eventually. My aunt remarried and moved first to Virginia, then South Carolina with her new husband's job, taking my cousin with her of course. We stopped going to my grandparents' house more than a few times a year, and...well, we were very shaken for a long time. It's not nearly as bad as before, but visits to my grandparents' house are still rare, backyard football games still lack Uncle Mark, and it's just not the same; and it won't be till we've all left this life and moved on to be with him again.

I lost my grandparents back in 2006. Six months apart from each other. We used to visit them almost every weekend. I still miss them. They were a big part of my life. It's hard not being able to see or talk to them whenever I wanted to.

I lost my grandmother two years ago to being old and sick. I really think she got to the point where she lost the light of life and let herself slip after that. I miss her terribly and wish she could have been around when I finally finish college.

I lost my closest cousin and good friend Jeff is a car wreck Thanksgiving 2006. I hadn't talked to him in a year because of 2 moves and lots of work over that time, I'll never not regret that. In 2005 I lost my closest Uncle, Dave"Bail"(yes, the get you out of jail kind, nice little story with that one...when he was 17 he decided he was going to hitch-hike to Florida from Detroit, MI; our families home turf; at 2am my Grandpa got a call from the Toledo, OH[45min south of Detroit] police with him in custody, he told them "Bail him out? at 2am? let him spend the night in there, I'll get him in the morning"...hence the name bail) to a genetic disease in his neck. His son, another cousin as close to me as Jeff if not closer is my camping/hunting buddy(I just sit in the blind, I have no desire to purposely kill anything since the passing of my uncle). He was alway more of a dad to me than my own father. I miss his conversations, advice, and green thumb.

Well, the closest family member I've lost was my great-grandmother not too long ago. It was just due to old age, though. I remember she was really old and it was near her 95th birthday. Whenever we went to family reunions, she was there. And even though she was in a wheelchair, she always seemed to be joyful and thankful that she had her life at that moment. And it was always such a pleasing sight to see her.

I lost both of my grandfathers in 2003 and 2004. It never really impacted me how much they meant to me at the time because I was only 9-10 years old when they died and they always smelled funny so I was hesitant to be around them. It did hit me when I was about 11-12 and it made me sad. My closest family member that died that I loved was my dog. He died when I was 12 back in 2007. I know that may sound silly that my dog is on par with my family, but I am an only child, and my Dog was around since before I was born. He was like an older brother (from a different species) to me and it really took me about a year or so to truly get over him.

pacman1755 (old) : dam im sorry for your loss that has to be pretty bad.

so far i've lost my grandad to cancer who died in my mums hands when i was in the room which was sad, i lost 2 uncles to cancer as well,  my grandad is also battling cancer and very close to death. My mum and aunties are also suffering from high blood pressure, heart related illnesses, etc and my last grandma is also suffering from heart failure and has already had a few strokes.

From all of this im pretty sure im gonna get cancer :/ but i really hope i dont get it hopefully my mum dosent have it and my grandparents stay alive but as you get older your more likley to get heart related illnesses, i dont let it get to me but its sad having been to soo many funerals and not one wedding as of yet.

Still I cant imagine my mum going, my condolences and I hope you get through it

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
