I don't think the world is going to end because one person said is will, for the world, it'll end whenever it wants to, hey, the world could end tomorrow if it wants to. So it's pretty much the waiting game and see if it in fact does end.

Nether religion nor science will tell us exactly when the world will end, some of those does predict the exact date it'll end, but in reality, the real end date is still unknown, so we won't know when it will end.

Well, what I can say is that no one will ever no when is the end of the world. There is no way to know, only god knows and god decides.

In my religion, they would actually call it "The day of Judgement." The day were god will judge everyone on their good or bad deeds in their life.
Depending on their deeds, they will either enter heaven or hell. People would call it the "afterlife", in my religion, we call it the "here after".

So people's deeds in life determines how their here after will be.

Also in my religion, there are signs to the end of the world or the day of judgement.

Here is a list of some of the signs from what I remember:

1. More females than males on earth. (I think this is beginning to occur in the world)
2. Time would feel like it is passing by faster. (I definitely feel this) 
3. For some others, time would feel like it is passing by slower. (I don't really feel it)
4. The sun will rise from the east instead of the west. (Definitely did not occur yet)
5. There will be more thieves and murderers on this world.

KungFuMaster7800 : Lol really. The Jews are making the prophecies happen, not God? I think not my friend. John wrote Revelations while he was a prisoner of Rome on the island of Patmos. If John truly wanted to write Revelations just to scare the Jewish people, then surely God would not have wasted his time showing John all the revelations that he did.
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."  Revelation 1:1-3 (KJV)
And ahem, God knew who you were before you were even born, so does God not know what is happening now? Obviously there is famine, earthquakes and tsunamis, death and economic crumble, but does God not say in the Book of Mathew to watch out for the signs of the ages? The signs of the ages to testify to the truth that God will come one day, like a thief. No one knows the time nor the hour.

because the Jewish people are making sure they come true, huh. Are the Jews responsible for the earthquakes and other natural disasters that happen? Are they responsible for the economic crumbles? No, I think not. Jesus also said that the rapture will happen once everyone has heard of him and has had the chance to accept or deny him.

Who is it that gave you life? God. Is it not true that God led his people out of the desert to a new land? Pshh, the Jews made sure the Jews returned...who do you think led them out of the "desert"? Who do you think made the birds of the sky, or the fish of the sea. Surely God has created the idea of building irrigation ditches into his people's minds to be able to plant the seeds.
Does it ever cross your mind that the Temple of Solomon may not be figuratively a legit temple, but rather something else, something modern, or symbolic?
It was John The Apostle - he was exiled to the island of Patmos for worshiping Christ. He was not angry with the other Christians, for they too were being persecuted. He wrote the letters for he was shown the many Revelations that God chose to reveal to him. It was not another John, my friend. John was 95 - people back then lived much longer than we do now...Abraham lived for more than 100 years, buddy boy.
There are many many things in the Bible that proclaim to these prophecies. Try not to be so ignorant - if you don't know, then don't say it.
 Please, don't falsify the Bible.
